Welcome. Our website will tell you all about the Practice and it is
UPDATED 30 July 2014
The first six months of 2014 have been extremely busy, with numerous enquiries from private and commercial Clients for a range of work. This seems to reflect the improving economic climate. Locally, we are particularly delighted to be working upon a new commercial venture in Wylam, Northumberland.
We continue to act throughout the UK as expert advisors and building pathologists. New commissions include investigating and remedying defective glazing on a commercial building in the North East; opening-up a defective slate roof in Durham; examining cracking of glass tiling to a swimming pool in Hampshire; and, a roof investigation in Milton Keynes. We are also providing expert advice in connection with a £1.0m Contract dispute in Whitley Bay, and in a dispute concerning allegations of negligence over the construction of a residential development in Biggin Hill, Kent.
Our longstanding commitment to the 'Architect in the House' scheme continues and, following the withdrawal of both the RIBA and Shelter from the Scheme, we are now working with the Save The Children Fund to assist prospective Clients and to raise funds for this most worthy Charity. So far our efforts have raised over £20,000. To discover more about our services, and about Architect in the House, read on!
We continue to update our Expert Witness page to feature Case Studies: each tale has a moral.
